KATSEYE, a global girl group under HYBE and Geffen Records, has unveiled concept photos ahead of their third EP 'WILD' set to release on August 14th. The concept creatively portrays a collision between mundane everyday spaces and wild nature, using a beam projector to overlay rugged natural landscapes such as oceans, deserts, and grasslands onto a room filled with ordinary furniture like beds and sofas. Members dressed in white clothing have imagery of leopard patterns and vibrant outfit colors projected onto their bodies, suggesting another persona within. The photoshoot, inspired by the 'Animal' music video's style, features cherry-colored hair and blonde wigs paired with transparent vinyl outfits to create a provocative and fatal atmosphere, while also incorporating the wet blonde hairstyle seen in the 'PINKY UP' music video. The pre-released single 'Animal' has already achieved global chart success, ranking 24th on Billboard's Hot 100 main chart as of August 8th, and reaching 8th place on Spotify's Global Weekly Top Songs (July 31-August 6) and 5th on the Global Daily Top Songs (August 2).
