BIGBANG is celebrating their 20th debut anniversary with a cutting-edge media exhibition titled 'COSMOS'. The exhibition is the centerpiece of the group's 20th-anniversary project, following a fan event at Han River on the 19th and their world tour 'XX : COSMOS' in Goyang from the 21st to 23rd. The exhibition combines BIGBANG's 20 years of music, history, and memories with fans using advanced entertainment technology including AI, real-time holograms, XR, VR, and 3D motion graphics. It begins with a prequel exhibition at Lotte World Tower in Jamsil, followed by the main exhibition at 'Cheonggyecheon Funstation-Dodoodu Seoul', an underground space connecting Cheonggyecheon Station to Euljiro 3-ga Station. Member G-Dragon, appointed as an adjunct professor at KAIST's Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2024, is leading entertainment technology research. Galaxy Corporation and KAIST established the 'AI Entertainment Technology Research Center' as a result of their collaboration. G-Dragon's music and the AI music video 'Home Sweet Home', created with Microsoft, were even transmitted to space as part of NASA's extraterrestrial intelligence detection project. This immersive exhibition aims to implement BIGBANG's 20-year journey as a world where visitors directly experience and participate.
