Girl group LE SSERAFIM has achieved a significant milestone with Japan's record industry. According to the Japan Record Association announced on the 27th, LE SSERAFIM's (consisting of Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae) first English digital single 'Perfect Night' surpassed 200 million cumulative streams in January, earning a 'Double Platinum' certification in the streaming category. This marks the group's second Double Platinum certification since their mini album 2's title track 'ANTIFRAGILE'. The Japan Record Association categorizes certifications monthly based on cumulative stream counts: Gold (50 million or more), Platinum (100 million or more), and Diamond (500 million or more). 'Perfect Night' carries a message that even an imperfect day can be enjoyable when spent with like-minded companions, with member Huh Yunjin participating in the songwriting. Since its release in 2023, the track has maintained top rankings on Circle Chart's 2025 annual 'Global K-pop Chart', 'Digital Chart', and 'Streaming Chart', demonstrating its enduring popularity. LE SSERAFIM currently holds five songs with 100 million-plus streams on the Japan Record Association's streaming chart, showcasing the group's impressive international influence.
