QWER opened their performance at the 2026 Pentaport Rock Festival's main stage on July 31st with their new song "SHOW DOWN," which serves as the opening theme for the anime "The Tomb King" airing simultaneously in Korea and Japan since July. "SHOW DOWN" is characterized by extremely fast tempos, high pitches, and elaborate arrangements requiring advanced technical skills. Rather than starting with a crowd-pleaser, QWER strategically chose this challenging debut track to assert their identity as a serious band. The performance generated an impressive crowd circle pit exceeding 100 people, with audiences experiencing physical exhaustion from the song's rapid pace. QWER's catalog proved ideally suited for the festival environment, featuring clear narrative arcs and emotionally overwhelming sections.
