DAY6's Younghk has made his solo comeback with his 2nd regular album 'YOUNGEST' after 2 years and 10 months away from the solo scene. The album features an impressive 15 tracks despite the music industry's trend toward efficiency and shorter formats, as Younghk insisted on including all songs even when the company strongly opposed his decision. Beyond vocal performances, Younghk took charge of songwriting, composition, production, and overall marketing, holding meetings with creative, marketing, and concert planning teams while personally planning Reels and challenge formats to expand the stage spectrum. After 11 years as DAY6's Younghk, he aimed to showcase his true self as 'Kang Young-hyun' on this album. The title track 'Shut The Door' marks his most honest exploration of his hidden inner self, featuring personal narratives about betrayal from trusted friends, emotional wounds from gossip, and the harsh reality that sincerity doesn't always prevail.
