Young K of DAY6 has made a solo comeback after approximately 2 years and 10 months. On the 27th of last month, Young K released his second full-length album 'YOUNGEST' and the title track 'Shut The Door,' marking the beginning of his active promotional period. Starting with appearances on major music shows including Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 30th, KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' on the 31st, and MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on August 1st, he showcased a refreshing summer vibe. Notably, he served as a special bank manager MC on 'Music Bank,' demonstrating stable hosting abilities. To commemorate the album release after such a long time, Young K has been broadening his touchpoints with fans across various platforms beyond music shows, including radio, TV programs, and YouTube content. He appeared on KBS CoolFM's 'Paul Kim Gayo Plaza' on July 28th and SBS PowerFM's 'Wendy Young Street' on the 29th, displaying his wit honed as a radio DJ. On the 31st, he captivated viewers with his sweet voice on KBS 2TV's music talk show 'The Seasons - Eardrum Boyfriend with Sung Si-kyung.' His candid charm brought smiles to viewers across various YouTube channels. Additionally, Young K has been actively collaborating with numerous K-pop artists, including bandmate Wonpil, on the 'Shut The Door' challenge.
