KATSEYE, a K-pop group that debuted in the United States in 2024, has achieved a new personal best on Spotify with their new song 'Animal'. Released on August 1st, 'Animal' reached number 9 on Spotify's Global Weekly Top Songs chart and number 8 on the US chart, marking the highest rank among new entries for the week and surpassing their previous hits 'Gabriela' (Global #10) and 'PINKY UP' (US #14). The track also achieved number 1 on Spotify's 'Top Songs Debut' chart for both Global and UK charts, with number 2 in the US, and entered the latest UK Official Singles Top 100 at number 16. On July 31st, KATSEYE made their headline debut at a major music festival, performing at the Hinterland Music Festival in Iowa, delivering a 56-minute set of 14 songs. During the performance, they showcased their signature tracks and performed 'Animal' live for the first time to enthusiastic local audiences. KATSEYE plans to release their third EP 'WILD' on August 14th.
