Kang Chan-hee, a member of SF9 and accomplished actor, will meet audiences in theaters with the film 'Method Acting' releasing on March 18th. The movie is a comedy-drama that follows comedian actor Lee Dong-hwi as he becomes overly immersed in his role to gain recognition for genuine acting. Kang Chan-hee plays the lead top star character 'Jeong Tae-min' who wins three major awards at the year-end awards ceremony. His character publicly shows affection toward Lee Dong-hwi, a senior colleague from their rookie days, but secretly harbors resentment due to past mistreatment, while displaying a contrasting friendly demeanor and praise in front of the media. Kang Chan-hee debuted as a child actor in the 2009 drama 'Queen Sondok' and officially launched his idol career with SF9 in 2016, capturing numerous fans' hearts. He established himself as a credible actor through the hit drama 'SKY Castle' and has continued building his filmography with works including 'True Beauty,' 'The Imitation,' and 'Syrup.' Regarding his role, Chan-hee stated, "Since I started acting from a young age like the character, there were many similar aspects that made immersion easy," and director Lee Gi-hyuk praised him saying, "His passion was tremendous and his concentration on set was remarkable."
