SM Entertainment's group Red Velvet (Irene, Seulgi, Joy, Wendy, Yeri) will release their summer mini album 'Velvet Summer' on August 3rd at 6 PM. The label released a highlight medley video on the 27th. The album includes 'Orchestra,' a reinterpretation of Henry Mancini's 'Lujon,' 'Hot Girls Cold Vibe' expressing cool energy from a summer night drive, 'Hawaii,' an acoustic pop track capturing freedom and childhood dreams, and 'Hula Hoop,' which celebrates memories of a fateful reunion. The title track 'Surfin' Boy' combines bossa nova guitar, reggae rhythm, and house groove with refreshing sounds. Member Joy participated in songwriting, conveying a story of cherishing memories from the hottest summer spent with loved ones and creating new brilliant moments.
