BLACKPINK's YouTube channel surpassed 100 million subscribers on the 21st, making them the group with the most subscribers among artists worldwide. According to YG Entertainment and YouTube, the channel achieved this milestone a little over nine years after its launch in June 2016. To commemorate this remarkable achievement, YouTube presented BLACKPINK with the prestigious 'Red Diamond Creator Award,' a special award created exclusively for them. Over the past 12 months, BLACKPINK recorded more than 3.3 billion views on YouTube, demonstrating explosive global popularity. Their viewership spans multiple continents, including South Korea (over 277 million views), India (over 223 million views), Indonesia (over 218 million views), Mexico (over 182 million views), the United States (over 180 million views), and Brazil (over 168 million views). In July 2020, BLACKPINK became the first non-English-language artist to enter the top five on YouTube by subscriber count. The group also features numerous videos with hundreds of millions of views and has been recognized by Guinness World Records in the United Kingdom as the band with the most views on YouTube.
