The five-member boy band CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho) is setting record-breaking achievements with their debut album. According to the Circle Chart released on the 19th, CORTIS's debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' has surpassed cumulative sales of 1.92 million copies. If they exceed 2 million copies sold, they will become the second K-pop group in history to achieve a 'double million seller' status with a debut album. The album's first-week sales were 420,000 copies, and reached over 500,000 copies in September last year following music show appearances. Notably, through word-of-mouth promotion, the album sold over 1.4 million additional copies during the non-promotional period from October 2025 to February 2026. Sales increases were particularly noticeable around U.S. activities including 'iHeartRadio LIVE with CORTIS' and 'The Zane Lowe Show,' the halftime performance at the Korea national football team's match against Ghana, and year-end specials and award ceremonies. As a result, four months after release, the album reclaimed the number one position on the Circle Chart monthly album chart in December 2025. CORTIS's strong musical quality and performance capabilities have driven consistent popularity since their debut.
