Dahyun of TWICE has been selected as the cover star for the 20th-anniversary Spring Issue of the global fashion magazine 'MAPS', showcasing a distinctive aura. The pictorial, unveiled on the 19th, was carried out in collaboration with the 'Comme des Garçons TAO' line led by world-renowned designer Tao Kurihara, drawing significant attention. This collaboration is meaningful as it represents a meeting between the experimental and artistic sensibility that MAPS has maintained for 20 years and the global icon Dahyun. Spanning 10 pages, the shoot embraces the concept of an 'avant-garde girl,' where Dahyun revealed a charm that is pure yet uncanny within a dreamlike space where light and shadow intersect, distinctly different from her usual bright image. The structural and delicate silhouettes characteristic of Tao Kurihara's designs blended harmoniously with her clear complexion and aura, creating a fairy-tale atmosphere. The cover will be released in two distinct versions: Version A is a clean cover emphasizing the sculptural beauty of TAO pieces and her delicate expressions, while Version B is an artwork cover created in collaboration with artist Ibuki Sakai, featuring sensuous illustrations layered over the pictorial to enhance artistic completeness. In a post-shoot interview, Dahyun expressed her pleasure at being able to participate in MAPS' 20th-anniversary issue.
