Zheno and Jaemin from SM Entertainment's NCT have formed a new unit 'NCT JNJM' and will make their official debut with their first mini album 'BOTH SIDES' on February 23. The two members, who are the same age and have been growing together for over 10 years, have established solid teamwork through their activities in NCT and NCT DREAM since their trainee days. The core appeal of this unit lies in the perfect harmony of their contrasting charms. Zheno, who commands the stage with powerful performances, and Jaemin, who adds ease and sophistication to solid skills, create a unique blend of intensity and subtlety, directness and leisure. The debut mini album consists of six tracks including the title song 'BOTH SIDES'. The title track is a hip-hop dance song that combines witty vocals and rap over sensual sound design and flowing drum beats, showcasing refined hip-hop choreography enhanced with kitschy moves for an effortless yet relaxed charm. B-side tracks include the Miami bass-based upbeat pop 'I.D.O.L.', 'HASHTAG' which reinterprets late 2000s Southern hip-hop sounds in a contemporary way, the dreamy R&B pop 'What It Is', the provocative yet cheerful 'sexier', and the energetic hip-hop track 'WIND UP' that encourages youth—spanning a wide musical spectrum across genres. The concept of 'duality' throughout the album captures both moments when Zheno and Jaemin distinctly showcase their individual colors and moments when they harmonize seamlessly as one unit. This message has been visually maximized through teaser content released starting February 7.
