The National Museum of Korea, led by Director Yu Hong-jun, is collaborating with BLACKPINK, a global K-POP artist representing Korea, on the '국중박 X BLACKPINK' project. The collaboration runs for 10 days from February 27 at 2 PM to March 8, coinciding with the release of BLACKPINK's new album [DEADLINE]. An outdoor lighting event illuminates the museum's plaza and exterior spaces with pink lights, BLACKPINK's signature color, from 4 PM to 10 PM daily, available for free public viewing. The new album includes 5 tracks: the title track 'GO', the pre-released song 'JUMP', and included tracks 'Me and my' and 'Champion'. A Listening Zone in the museum's 'Path of History' space allows visitors to enjoy the album's music starting February 27 at 2 PM. Additionally, a voice docent program featuring BLACKPINK members' own recordings introduces 8 museum artifacts, allowing visitors to hear commentary directly from the members' voices. This meaningful project represents a fusion of Korean traditional culture and K-POP, introducing Korean culture to global fans.
