BTS has been unanimously selected as 'Honorary Guest' (Huésped de Honor) by the city council of La Plata, Argentina, in recognition of their contributions to advancing youth rights worldwide. This is the highest level of official recognition given to world-class cultural and artistic figures. According to the latest Spotify charts (June 26-July 2), BTS's fifth studio album 'ARIRANG' maintained its position at No. 2 on the 'Weekly Top Albums Global' chart for three consecutive weeks, with an impressive 15-week consecutive chart presence. The title track 'SWIM' reached No. 6, while five tracks from the album achieved a record 15-week consecutive chart run. The group also dominated European charts, with the album entering the UK Official Albums Chart at No. 37 and the German Official Charts at No. 9 for 15 consecutive weeks. Mayor Julio Alak is leading comprehensive city-level administrative support to handle the massive crowds expected from BTS's visit. BTS will hold their 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' concert at Estadio Único de La Plata in Buenos Aires on October 21 and October 23-24.
