Stray Kids to Appear in KBS Lunar New Year Special 'Seolbim'

Global K-pop artists Stray Kids will exclusively appear in KBS 2TV's Lunar New Year special program 'Seolbim-Soul Beam,' set to air on February 16 at 8:10 PM. This fantasy reality show follows the worldwide-popular members as they mysteriously time-slip back to the Joseon Dynasty to experience traditional Korean holiday culture. The members will don traditional hanbok clothing, prepare tteokguk (rice cake soup) themselves, and compete in traditional games such as tuho (arrow game) and jegichagi (shuttlecock kick), rediscovering the meaning of Korean holidays. The program recreates signature games from the legendary 1990s variety show 'Family Orak Orak,' offering nostalgia to parent generations and fresh entertainment to younger viewers. The recording generated tremendous enthusiasm, with over 10,000 applicants competing for just 400 seats—a remarkable 25-to-1 competition ratio. International fans attended while adhering to the 'Seolbim' dress code. Prior to broadcast, sales have already been confirmed in Japan, Taiwan, Russia, and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) regions, demonstrating high global interest.
