K-pop groups including EXO, Big Bang, and T-ara, all over a decade since debut, continue to demonstrate significant presence on international charts, proving the power of long-term K-pop intellectual property. According to the 'Global-K Chart' based on Melon (Korea), Tencent Music (China), and Line Music (Japan) data for the week of June 15-21, EXO ranked 10th, Big Bang 11th, and T-ara 12th. These groups share a common history of building fanbases in the Chinese market over many years. The chart rankings, which reflect not only streaming but also fan engagement metrics like follows and likes, indicate that their music and content continue to be actively consumed. EXO released their 8th full album 'REVERXE' this year, achieving their 8th million-seller status and reaching number one on iTunes' top album chart in 48 regions worldwide including the US, Brazil, Japan, and Mexico. Their sixth solo concert tour 'EXO PLANET #6 - EXhOrizon' further demonstrated their strong overseas fanbase. In China, the album achieved weekly number one on Tencent Music's K-pop chart and triple platinum certification on QQ Music. Individual members like G-Dragon, Do Kyung-soo, and Baekhyun also appear on charts, showcasing K-pop's structure expanding beyond group activities to individual member brands.
