In a video released on aespa's official YouTube channel on the 30th of last month titled '[R(ae)cord] ChoBaz's Friendship Piercing Story,' the two members shared their piercing experiences. Giselle revealed that she had wanted to get a belly button piercing but was afraid to do it alone. After Ningning suggested the idea, she decided to get it done spontaneously while shopping. The two members decided who would go first by playing rock-paper-scissors, and Giselle lost. Both members reported that the pain was less severe than expected. Giselle also shared an anecdote about experiencing discomfort during rehearsal when her costume's belt rubbed against the piercing.
