Chanyeol from EXO has newly joined 'Rising Eagles,' a celebrity basketball team led by Korean basketball legend Seo Jang-hoon. Rising Eagles returns with SBS's 'Basketball Fever Season 2,' aiming for 'nationwide championship' this season after achieving Asian dominance during last season's Philippines expedition. In addition to Chanyeol, Julien Kang, Jo Jin-se, and Nowze Jin-hyuk have joined the team, alongside existing members SHINee's Minho, 2AM's Jung Jin-woon, and Son Tae-jin. The coaching staff has been strengthened with 'Magic Kid' Kim Tae-sool joining alongside Coach Jeon Tae-poong, and Sandara Park has been promoted to official manager. With approximately 200 teams nationwide applying, carefully selected 7 teams will compete in league matches against amateur powerhouses.
