The six-member idol group BOYNEXTDOOR (Sungho, Riwoo, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, Woonhak) concluded their first studio album 'HOME' promotions on the 28th through SBS's 'Inkigayo' broadcast, achieving their career-best performance. The album topped charts in Korea, the U.S., and Japan, demonstrating their strengthened global popularity. Most notably, 'HOME' entered the U.S. Billboard 200 chart at No. 16 on June 27, marking a 24-place improvement from their previous album 'The Action' (No. 40) and their sixth consecutive chart entry. The album also reached No. 1 on the World Albums chart. The title track 'VIRAL' received strong responses for its nostalgic nod to '2nd-3rd generation K-pop' with clear narrative and tight choreography. The B-side 'ADIOS!' earned praise for its refreshing youth sentiment and free-spirited vibe, while the pre-release track 'Knock Knock Knock' stood out as an impactful hip-hop number.
