Joshua of the group SEVENTEEN delivered a speech at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on the 25th (local time) as a Youth Goodwill Ambassador representing the team. Joshua stated, "It has been a very valuable time to support the journey of young people," and added, "The passion and creativity of young people deeply moved us." The speech commemorated the conclusion of the global youth support program 'Going Together - For Youth Creativity & Well-being,' which SEVENTEEN has been promoting with UNESCO. When appointed as a UNESCO Youth Goodwill Ambassador in 2024, SEVENTEEN donated $1 million to establish the Global Youth Fund, supporting projects aimed at enhancing confidence and resilience of young people worldwide through music, arts, and sports, developing creative youth communities, and improving youth mental health. Joshua emphasized, "SEVENTEEN will continue to be with you in the best way we can," and urged, "Don't let anyone, not even yourselves, diminish your dreams." SEVENTEEN expanded youth support activities by donating an additional $250,000 in proceeds from a charity auction on World Youth Day last year.
