NEXZ, a seven-member boy group under JYP Entertainment, officially released their third Japanese EP 'Hellmate' on June 24th. The album consists of five tracks including the title song 'Hellmate', 'Hands up, Yo!', 'Can't hide', 'Mmchk (Japanese Ver.)', and 'Hellmate (Instrumental)', showcasing diverse sounds that transcend genre boundaries. The title track is a powerful hip-hop song with a message about believing in their own rules rather than conforming to worldly standards, featuring impressive old-school DJ scratches and a mysteriously stunning music video. Prior to the album release, NEXZ successfully concluded their debut arena tour 'NEXZ LIVE TOUR 2026 "Hellmate"' with performances at Osaka Castle Hall on June 12th and 13th. The concerts demonstrated the group's stage strength through live band performances, acrobatic performances with dancers, and unit stages, while engaging with fans through interactive moments and fan chants that filled the venue with positive energy.
