K-pop group TWS has confirmed appearances on three major Japanese terrestrial TV music specials, demonstrating their significant popularity in the local market. According to Pledis Entertainment, TWS will appear on Fuji TV's '2026 FNS Song Festival Summer' on July 1st, Nihon TV's 'The Music Day 2026' on the 4th, and TBS's 'Music's Day 2026' on the 18th. These programs are the most influential major special broadcasts in Japan's music market, with particularly strong industry interest in 'The Music Day'—a roughly 9.5-hour live event—and TBS's signature summer special 'Music's Day,' which marks TWS's first appearance. TWS ranked 2nd among foreign artists in the 2025 Oricon Annual Rankings' new artist category and won 'New Artist of the Year (Asia)' at the 40th Japan Gold Disc Awards, solidifying their position as Asia's leading new artist. Their mini 5th album 'NO TRAGEDY' achieved platinum certification from the Japan Record Association and entered the Billboard Japan first-half 'Top Album Sales' at 10th place. Upcoming plans include releasing single 'SODA SODA' on August 4th, festival appearances in mid-August, and a Japan tour visiting Fukuoka, Hyogo, and Kanagawa starting late August.
