Hearts2Hearts released their second mini album 'Lemon Tang' on the 22nd, using the same lemon concept as their senior group aespa's 'LEMONADE' released a month earlier. Leader Jiu clarified the difference at a media showcase, stating that while aespa's 'LEMONADE' represents a sharp, thrilling sourness, 'Lemon Tang' embodies a fresh and sweet charm that shines when together. aespa's 'LEMONADE' is an electronic dance track with a strong synth base that metaphorically represents trials within their world, showcasing a relaxed variation typical of an established group. In contrast, rookie Hearts2Hearts' 'Lemon Tang,' featuring SM hit maker KENZIE, compares the lemon's properties—sour and sharp alone, but flavorful when combined in cooking—to the relationships of a rookie girl group. Both groups successfully differentiated their images by interpreting the same concept according to their respective careers and narratives, emphasizing that Hearts2Hearts needs to establish their unique fresh color identity to the public.
