Singer and producer Gray shared a photo of Yugyeom on his SNS on the 22nd, showing him in neat military uniform saluting with his sergeant rank insignia visible on his chest. Yugyeom began his mandatory military service with the Army Band on September 29th of last year and has now been promoted to sergeant after completing 9 months of service. The two artists established a strong bond after Yugyeom transferred to hip-hop label AOMG in 2021, where they were label mates. They collaborated on various projects including Yugyeom's solo title track 'Your Mistake'. This reunion was arranged according to Yugyeom's military leave schedule. Yugyeom is a member of seven-member boy group GOT7, who debuted in January 2014 with the mini album 'Got it?', serving as the group's main dancer and vocalist before eventually transferring agencies as members pursued individual paths.
