YG Entertainment's TREASURE and BABYMONSTER have captured K-pop attention with impressive activities in the first half of the year. TREASURE completed a 14-city, 27-show [PULSE ON] tour before making a comeback with their fourth mini album [NEW WAV], maintaining non-stop momentum. The album marks their debut by featuring all hip-hop based tracks, overseen by YG's Yang Hyun-suk, and achieved debut-day multi-million seller status. It dominated the Korean Hanteo and Circle Charts, and Japan's Oricon and Billboard Japan weekly album charts, securing a 4-crown on Korean and Japanese charts. The title track 'IF I' music video topped YouTube's most-viewed video in 24 hours and set a record as the fastest K-pop song released this year to surpass 100 million views. After winning first place on M Countdown, TREASURE plans to maintain momentum through 8 cities and 20 fan concert shows of [NEW WAV : LIVE]. BABYMONSTER made a rapid comeback with digital single 'SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA,' earning praise for its refreshing charm and becoming the summer anthem of 2024. Their music video ranked #1 on global YouTube daily popular music video charts. Building on this success, BABYMONSTER will launch their second world tour [춤 (CHOOM)] from the 26th to 28th at Seoul's Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, with 18 confirmed cities and 29 shows, with European, North American, and South American dates to follow. Both groups are expanding their global fanbase through strong live performance capabilities, and are expanding their activity stages through large-scale tours based on their first-half achievements.
