K-pop boy group LNGSHOT, under agency MORE VISION, will headline the 2nd NBA Rising Stars Invitational as a performing artist. The NBA Rising Stars Invitational is a tournament featuring high school basketball teams from males and females under 18 years old across the Asia-Pacific region, held from June 23 to 28 at OCBC Arena in Kallang, Singapore. LNGSHOT will participate on the final day (June 28) with fan interactions, community outreach programs, and live performances. The group emphasizes their team name's meaning of always challenging boldly, believing in themselves, and aiming beyond expectations, expressing their desire to support athletes and fans in pursuing their own paths with confidence and authenticity. NBA's Senior Vice President of Asia Growth and Innovation, Ed Winkle, noted that this collaboration demonstrates deepening ties between the NBA league and K-pop. With 12 teams each of males and females participating, the tournament features round-robin preliminaries followed by knockout semifinals and finals.
