Through the fan communication platform Bubble, Minami stated, "It's time to say goodbye to the gyaru concept. I was never a gyaru to begin with. Now I need to appeal much more of my true self." Rather than being absorbed by the meme's success, she expressed her determination to showcase her skills as an artist through dancing and singing. Minami explained that she extensively researched and prepared the gyaru style to suit herself, and she was grateful for the staff's support in providing beautiful costumes. She clarified that the content was not intended to promote gyaru culture but to display her diverse sides and good chemistry with her team member Won. RESCENE is set to make a comeback on July 8 with a remake single of KARA's hit song 'Pretty Girl' from the second generation of K-pop girl groups.
