SM staff members humorously questioned "Didn't you say you were going to YG?" while the members expressed their affiliation with SM, stating "We're still SM," "We're pink blood," and "SM knows us best." Hyoyeon jokingly remarked "We seemed to have upset them by playing hard to get," while Sooyoung and Yuri added humorous comments. The members showed embarrassment, saying "We carelessly said things like 'we need to leave SM,'" and began searching for their debut song among SM's reserved tracks.
