On the 20th, 'HyoRiSu,' a unit of Girls' Generation members Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung, revealed their return to SM Entertainment through the YouTube channel 'Hyoyeon's Level Up.' In the third episode of the 'HyoRiSu Debut Project,' the group, which previously announced they were going to YG Entertainment, eventually returned to SM Entertainment to request a debut song. SM staff members humorously questioned "Didn't you say you were going to YG?" while the members expressed their affiliation with SM, stating "We're still SM," "We're pink blood," and "SM knows us best." Hyoyeon jokingly remarked "We seemed to have upset them by playing hard to get," while Sooyoung and Yuri added humorous comments. The members showed embarrassment, saying "We carelessly said things like 'we need to leave SM,'" and began searching for their debut song among SM's reserved tracks. Hyoyeon referenced how Girls' Generation's debut song 'Gee' was also selected after consideration, expressing the unpredictability of the song selection process.
