K-pop idol group TWS (members: Shinyu, Dohun, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) released concept films and official photos for their Japanese single 'SODA SODA' on August 17-18, set to launch on August 4. The concept depicts youthful energy at a beach with refreshing summer vibes and a crisp, bubbly energy, featuring Japanese original songs in a total of 3 tracks. TWS maintains strong popularity in Japan; their mini-5th album 'NO TRAGEDY' reached number 1 on Oricon Daily Album Rankings and achieved platinum certification from the Japan Record Association, ranking 10th among 5th generation K-pop albums on Billboard Japan's first-half 2026 rankings. TWS will perform at Mezamashi WANGAN Festival on August 7 and SUMMER SONIC 2026 on August 14-16, followed by Seoul performances on August 27-28 at Olympic Gymnastics Arena before touring 8 cities including Fukuoka, Hyogo, Kanagawa, Macau, Bangkok, Singapore, and Kaohsiung. Seoul concert tickets sold out on the first day of reservation.
