A city-themed festival 'BTS THE CITY ARIRANG - BUSAN' commemorating BTS's 13th debut anniversary was successfully held throughout Busan. For the first time in about four years, this event in Busan centered on the new album 'Arirang' and transformed the entire city into one massive concert venue. Various experiential contents were deployed across the city, including a welcome center at Busan Station, the 'Love Song Lounge' at Haeundae Beach, the 'Ami Courtyard' at The Bay 101, yacht tours, and drone shows. According to Busan City, major programs attracted over 200,000 visitors. Particularly, the music-combined drone light show and yacht tours in Haeundae and Gwangan-ri areas generated significant buzz, with approximately 54,000 people attending the night drone show, transforming the entire city with BTS themes. Lighting displays on Gwangandaegyo Bridge and major landmarks created an 'Arirang' concept atmosphere throughout day and night. Beyond a simple fan event, the festival was praised as a successful city-themed K-culture project that combined Busan's tourism assets with cultural content through increased merchandise sales and experiential content operations.
