SEVENTEEN's Joshua will attend the 'UNESCO x SEVENTEEN: Celebrating Youth, Creativity and Well-Being Together' commemoration ceremony at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France on the 25th as a UNESCO Youth Goodwill Ambassador. The event celebrates the global youth support program 'Going Together - For Youth Creativity & Well-Being' jointly promoted by SEVENTEEN and UNESCO. Joshua will take the podium to represent the team and encourage youth worldwide, with UNESCO Director-General Khaled El-Enany also attending. SEVENTEEN donated $1 million when appointed as UNESCO Youth Goodwill Ambassador in 2024, with funds supporting projects enhancing youth creativity, mental health, and well-being through music, arts, and sports. Additionally, they donated charity auction proceeds on World Youth Day, which will support 10 outstanding teams among 100 youth groups participating in 'Going Together'. SEVENTEEN conducted the first K-pop artist special session at UNESCO Youth Forum in November 2023 and was appointed UNESCO's first Youth Goodwill Ambassador in June 2024, gaining international recognition.
