RESCENE, a girl group under a small entertainment company, has achieved remarkable success in the Korean music market and garnered significant attention. On November 25th, the group held a mini album showcase at Myunghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, where they presented high-quality performances and releases that resonated with fans despite their limited resources. In recognition of this achievement, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) selected RESCENE as a support target and launched initiatives to nurture and support idol groups from small entertainment agencies. Following the success stories of groups like Brave Girls and GFriend, which emerged from small agencies and achieved mainstream success, RESCENE is expected to take a significant leap forward with government support. This sends a hopeful signal to idol groups under small entertainment companies and is anticipated to positively impact the diversity of the Korean music industry.
